apt-get update したら、警告が出た　changed its ‘Suite’ value from ‘stable’ to ‘oldstable’

警告が出た

apt-get update したら、下記の警告が出ました。

N: Repository 'http://security.debian.org/debian-security bookworm-security InRelease' changed its 'Suite' value from 'security'
N: Repository 'http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm InRelease' changed its 'Suite' value from 'stable' to 'oldstable'
N: Repository 'http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates InRelease' changed its 'Suite' value from 'stable-updates'

Debianのリポジトリの「Suite」値が変更されたという通知が出ています。これは、Debianのバージョンが新しくなり、現在の bookworm が「oldstable（旧安定版）」に移行したことを意味している。

apt-get update の際に出る「Suite が変更された」というメッセージは、情報提供のための警告であり、エラーではありません。そのままでもパッケージの更新は可能です。

新しいバージョンにアップグレードするのが推奨されています。

そのまま気にせず

現在利用中のバージョンは bookworm です。Debian12 になります。新しくリリースされたのが、trixie　Debian13になります。

Debian12 のサポート期限は 2028/6 まで。

まだこのまま使い続けてもセキュリティアップデートは継続されるのでしばらくこのままで利用を続けます。
